If you ever wondered what happens when two stars decide they can't be apart, is your answer. Stemming from some ancient Chinese storytelling, this holiday marks the once-a-year reunion of Orihime and Hikoboshi, who usually chill on opposite sides of the Milky Way. Basically, it's cosmic love's annual date night, but the story has a nice twist that brings people together here on Earth too.

So if you find yourself in or near San Diego on July 7th 2025 you can join in on the festivities which include a bunch of kid-friendly stuff like games, performances, crafts, and plenty of food. Think of it as a summer day out where the stars align for good times and maybe a little friendly competition in the game department.
