Hello,
Has anyone found when looking for help with behavior issues that there is a strong focus on ASD without spending any time with the child?
I'm happy to do an assessment but there is an extremely long waitlist and it's very expensive. Then if it's not Autism, all that wasted time. I think it's emotional regulation issues, not ASD. The speech said it's not ASD, the physio said it's not but the Psych said they're both wrong. The psychs reasons can also be put down to my child being 3.5 and finding Kindy a big adjustment
I'm seeing a pediatrician next month and will see what he says but I just feel that they all want to put an ASD cure-all label on everything to fix' it.
