This session is for children ages 8 to 12 and focuses on designing and building a wooden pencil box while covering safe tool use and the basics of wood behavior. Participants will get hands on practice with measuring, cutting, sanding and assembling, all under instructor supervision.

Projects and the depth of skill exploration are adjusted to each child's age and ability so beginners get steady guidance and more confident kids can try trickier techniques. Expect a little sawdust, a fresh appreciation for sandpaper and a finished pencil box to take home as proof that real work happened.
