So Disney is dragging out the 30th anniversary of their stage version of Beauty and the Beast, and it's running in or around San Diego from July 7 to December 7, 2026. If you've somehow missed this tale as old as time for three decades, here's your chance to catch it. The show is basically the same enchanted romance with a beast, a bookworm, and a bunch of singing furniture, but now with newer sets and costumes that probably took a small army to build.

As for the music, you'll get that Oscar winning, Tony nominated score that's been stuck in everyone's head since the 90s. Yes, "Be Our Guest" and the title song are in there, along with the rest of the soundtrack that makes you want to dance with a candelabra. It's a perfectly fine way to spend a few hours if you're looking for something familiar that doesn't require much thinking, and it's right nearby.
